Thank you

I just can't believe it, I get a DD :faint: I've never thought that one day I'll get one...
I wanted to thank deeply =aksdareflection for the suggestion and ^opioid for the feature.

I can write sentences and sentences but here, I think a big thank you for everyone who has supported me since a long time will be enough...

Love you all

F.A.Q. (part1)

F.A.Q.

How to put pictures from DeviantArt artists on your own journals
FAQ #80: Can I add thumbnails to my journal? :

First, you need to be a subscriber to to that.
You just need to put : thumb #### : (### is the thumb number which you can find on each deviation in the right part of the Artist Comment.)

Which camera do I use : Nikon D80, bought one year ago. [link]

Which lens do I use

The most of the time I use Nikon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 (AF macro 1:2), because I can use it for several situations as portraits, close-up shots and so on. The only thing that I'm not satisfied with this lens is the aperture which is a little bit poor in my opnion (I want a f/2.8 !!)

For wide angle, I use the Tokina 12-24mm f/4. It's not a Nikon one but it's a really good lens, the render of colors are very nice and it's less expensive than the Nikon one. I use it for architecture shots and also for cityscapes type photo. (I bought it in Japan for 350€ )

My first lens was Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AF Nikkor : I always suggest to beginners to buy this lens because of the report/ratio price quality. It's about 100€, wich is really a low price and the quality of this lens is just stunning. The 50mm gives you almost the human eye vision, which means that the view is almost the same that you have with your eyes (for example, with the wide angle, what you see through your lens will be completly different from your view :) )

Others materials/tools that I use:

A wireless remote control Nikon ML-L3 : it's very usefull espcially when you want to do selfportraits. Not expensive at all and very easy to use it.

I don't have a lots of polaroids in my gallery but I have also a Polaroid 600 (my scanner is broken), which is the most basic polaroid that we can have. Everything is automatised and the minimal distance neeeded is 1m, which is quite big.

I bought on eBay one week ago a Polaroid 600 One Step, which allows me to do some close-up shots. I haven't recieved it yet so I can not say anything about it for the moment but I think I'm gonna fun because we can have more control than my actual Polaroid. (exposure, focal distance...)

For the post-editing :

Computer : iMac Core Duo - 2 Ghz - 2 Go RAM - Leopard 10.5.1
Radeon X1600 - 128 Mo

I use several programs for my pictures : iPhoto to classify them, Adobe Lightroom for some corrections and Photoshop CS3 for deeper editing. These are the main programs used for the moment. But few weeks ago I found also "Aperture" and it seems to be a very nice one also. I have to test it a little bit more. I also tested DXO which is a very interesting program also. It corrects your pictures with a very precise ergonomics (in fact this program has several informations for lens and camera specifications and corrects pictures with these informations - when you buy this program, you just have to choose the pack appropriate to your camera).

Well that's enough for today I think :)
If you have others questions, feel free to ask me. More F.A.Q. will come soon !

Questions ?

We more and more ask me questions about DA function, photography techniques and so on. So if you have any question, it's your chance :D
I'll make a journal with some FAQ so feel free to ask me anything you want. (of some of these won't be answered if it's too personal :p)

PS: I couldn't recover my Gmail account so my new email is now somewhair@gmail.com
For my blog, I could recreate a blog with the same name but it will take me time to put up a design. Maybe this we...

Thank you for all who tried to comfort me
I'm Okay, it's not a stupid person as this hacker who will stop my creativity, my love for writing ! :mwahaha:

It's not so complicated !

These days, I have more and more notes and messages of this kind : "can you send me the original of this one, I want to use it for my photomanipulation" (and it's not a resume, it was written like that...), or just "hello I used it for this, take a look at it".

If my pictures were a stock or any kind of source, you'll be notified in the "Artist Comment".
In other words, my pictures are not stocks, you can't use them for any kind of work, except as I've always accepted with lots of excitment, drawings, which for me, use the picture in a very different way.
Of course, I prefer that we ask me before doing anything.
In other words, if it's not still clear, you can not use my pictures for any kind of work, without my permission.

When I'll have time, I'll edit all my "artist comment" field with a clear notification of all these conditions.

Besides that, I really have to start my thesis. If I fail it, I can say farewall to my diploma...
It will be on the advertising in the Tokyo city.

Hope you're doing well and pass a good holidays
